In this way, we are actively involved in shaping the trends and developments in the parking industry.

Contipark offers its partners and customers parking-space management at the highest level. Throughout the past 50 years, we have repeatedly demonstrated our competence, experience and expertise. Our innovativeness, not only in the areas of digitalisation and e-mobility, is the reason why we have become one of the leading parking-space providers in Germany today.

This fact is also evidenced by the numerous awards and certifications with which our parking facilities are regularly recognised – for example, by the European Parking Association.

We promote early-childhood education on road-safety and support children with social disadvantages or health impairments. In this context, we work with many organisations and project sponsors, for example, with UNICEF, the foundation Stiftung Kindertraum and the Lions Club Berlin.

In the area of art and culture, we support young artists and arts initiatives. We are committed to protecting the quality of life in cities through the arts and culture sector, e.g. in our cooperation with the street-art festival “River Tales” in Gießen and the Open-Air cinema festival “Kino unter Sternen” in Vienna.

Environmental commitment

Environmental commitment

By transitioning all of our facilities to LED lighting we were able to significantly reduce our electricity consumption and carbon emissions. We support climate-protection projects in order to offset our carbon footprint. Our carbon neutrality is certified regularly by the RECS (Renewable Energy Certificate System).

E-mobility

Electric mobility is not only one of the biggest issues of our time but also one of the challenges of our industry. As an innovative provider of modern parking-space solutions, we began embracing and addressing the issue of e-mobility at an early stage.

As early as 2009 we built the first charging points in our parking properties. Since then, the provision of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles is incorporated in all of the facilities we build. Since 2011 all of our EV charging points have been using exclusively electricity from certified renewable energy sources.

Awards

Every two years, the European Parking Association (EPA), with members from 22 countries, gives out the European Parking Awards. These “Oscars of the international parking industry” recognise outstanding parking facilities and parking concepts.

In addition, selected parking facilities that offer a high level of parking convenience, safety and service can earn the EPA’s quality seal “European Standard Parking Award” (ESPA). The coveted “ESPA Gold” award is reserved for parking facilities that demonstrate outstanding user-friendliness.

Contipark has received multiple awards from the EPA and other organisations. We feel honoured by every single award we receive and view these awards as acknowledgements of our work and high level of commitment.
