Contipark extends portfolio in Germany and Austria in the first half of 2020

In spite of the unforeseeable circumstances, which marked the first half of the year and will certainly influence the second half, the interim balance of Contipark turns out positive. Numerous new objects could be acquired in the last six months, especially in Northern Germany there were many new additions. With the car parks “Mercado” and “Hahnenkamp” the company secured two new properties in Hamburg, where it is now represented with a total of 28 parking facilities. Contipark has also taken over two properties in the extreme north of Germany and is now also represented in Flensburg for the first time with the car parks “Große Straße (Speicherlinie)” and “Segelmacherstraße”. In Wilhelmshaven the parking lot “Börsenstraße” has recently been added to the Contipark portfolio, which now consists of three car parks here. In Mecklemburg-Vorpommern, more precisely in the state capital Schwerin, Contipark operates since this week with the parking lot “Grunathalplatz” a second parking lot close to the main station. With the car park “Am Waffenplatz” Contipark is now also represented twice in the centre of Oldenburg.

Also in Austria the company portfolio has expanded. With the recently acquired underground car park “Interspar Breitenfurter Straße” in Vienna Contipark now operates a total of 15 parking facilities in the Austrian capital.

This means that in the first half of 2020 the company portfolio has increased by eight parking facilities with 1,660 parking spaces to over 570 properties in Germany and Austria.
